An intimate get-away by the Sandvig bay

Fortunately, there are also plenty of sunny hours in Southern Jutland, which you can enjoy on the wooden terrace of the house or on the water carpet in the garden, with a good book and a big bowl of green peas.

A few minutes' walk will land you on the beach in Sandvig Bay, also known as Hejsager Strand. Here you can sink into the sun-warmed sand and dip your feet in the cool water. If you're in the mood for activity, it's also not far to the deciduous forest with fine walking and running trails, or to Hejsager Strand's well-preserved giant mounds by the forest edge.
