Our names are Sara and Mikkel and we live in Nørrebro with our two children. We are what you might call city people, and as architects and designers, respectively, we are used to a fast-paced working life. That's why we bought our large summer house plot in 2014 to have a base closer to nature, where we can enjoy the peace and quiet and relax as a family. Mikkel designed our holiday home and together we built the house ourselves from foundation to top. It has been an exciting adventure for our entire family.
We spend a lot of our time in the forest, going for long walks, making fires and catching frogs. We particularly enjoy visiting the organic farm, Rabarbergården, and Tothaven's visitor farm, and we often take a trip to the beach or go jogging or mountain biking in the scenic Tisvildehegn.
