We are four siblings and our mother who enjoys our vacation home. The house was built by our mother's father and has been the setting for our summers and vacations throughout our lives. The cottage is a real family place for us, and the history is evident in the decor, which is characterized by art and family photos from all the time we've owned it.
The big draw for us is Dueodde Beach, which the cottage is located right next to. We spend many hours here, whether it's winter with rain and wind or summer with high pressure and sunshine, where the water is emerald green and ready to jump into.

We really enjoyed our stay in this vacation home and were pleasantly surprised. The house was even nicer than in the photos and had a charming retro style from the 1970s/1980s. Our kids had a great time in the playroom with the many toys, especially the Brio trains, plug and play puzzles. A new washing machine was even delivered and hooked up during our stay, which was very convenient.
The garden with the oak tree was beautiful and there were several cozy seating areas for the whole family. The children especially enjoyed the zip line in the garden. The beach is right next to the property and is a wide white beach. Bornholm as a whole is definitely recommended. The location of the house is ideal for relaxing or even exploring the island.
The kitchen was well equipped and the garden had plenty of room for the kids to play. We were there as a family of five with our three children and the house was very family friendly. The weather was good during our stay, hardly any rain and not too hot. The house is located in the middle of green nature among conifers and ferns and offers a lot of distance to the neighbors.
