It was a bit of a fixer-upper when we first saw this hilltop cottage in 2021, but we fell head over heels for the fantastic, lush surroundings, the view from the living room, which gives you an almost floating feeling, and the large, hilly natural grounds. Since then, we have spent many weekends and holidays transforming a dilapidated yellow brick house into the summer house we have today, which is a real gem for us, both inside and out.
We are a family of five who love coming here and feel that nature and its tranquility move right into the living room thanks to the large panoramic windows. The area is beautiful and there are plenty of opportunities for pleasant trips to charming harbor towns such as Liseleje, Kikhavn, Hundested, and Lynæs, as well as just relaxing indoors with the wood-burning stove, books, and family games, or in the garden with badminton, table tennis, and king's game, among other things.

The summer house is located on a beautiful plot with a lovely garden. It has everything children could want: a trampoline, a tennis net, table tennis, etc. The house has everything you need for a vacation. It's really nice that there is no TV. But it's great that there is a dishwasher. Katrine and Martin were easy to communicate with and good hosts. A great experience.
