The bench can work well as a bed for two children, if you unfold the futon mattresses on top.
Apart from its distinctive expression, the igloo has been created with great respect for nature: Here you will find a spacious outdoor furniture and there is neither running water nor electricity, so you leave a minimal footprint on the nature around you. But your hosts make sure you get a five liter can of drinking water and a collection of useful things like a flashlight and a thermos, so you have everything you need.
The glass igloo is located in an open landscape with a beautiful spruce forest, which you have all to yourself. Here you can set off on trips through the fairytale forest, and if you're lucky you'll meet the king of the forest, the moose, on the way. Remember to take food and drink with you, because you can cook either in the storm kitchen outside, or on the hotplate on the wood stove inside.

My name is Rolf Arne. In 2021, I set up this glass igloo to create the ultimate glamping experience near Oslo, where you can lower your shoulders and become one with nature without compromising on comfort. My goal is to leave the smallest possible impression on nature and make the greatest possible impression on the soul, and I hope and believe that I have succeeded.
The glass igloo, which I call Elgtråkket, is located in Aurskog, just 45 minutes by car from Oslo or by public transport. You will find several things there that may be useful for you: mosquito spray, wet wipes, wine opener, disposable glass, spade and thermos. In the drawer you will find duvets and pillows, and on cool days you can fire in the stove while the vent ensures good ventilation. If you need some privacy, you can draw the blinds, up to approximately one and a half metres.
The igloo is surrounded by classic eastern forest with good hiking opportunities, and the local zealot Kari-Anne is the hostess on your trip. She will be able to give you tips and advice for good experiences in the area - and show you the way to the igloo and then give you breathing space in peace and quiet. If you love animals, or are just curious to meet an alpaca, it's only a short 12-15 minute trip down to Kari-Anne, who also runs Killingmo Gård, where you can greet, or take a walk with, one of these lovely beings.
