Unique glass igloo enveloped by nature and Nordic design

If you drive just 45 minutes out of Oslo and continue on foot for fifteen minutes into the forest, you will come to this unique glass igloo, which is embraced by the peace and quiet of the forest. Here, an unforgettable glamping experience awaits you in an undisturbed and beautiful setting. In the igloo you will fall asleep under the open sky and if you are lucky you will wake up with moose outside the igloo who are curious about their new neighbours.

The igloo is functionally and flexibly furnished with a clean, Nordic design inspired by nature. On cool days you can fire up the stove and when evening falls, the sofa from Danish Karup Design can be turned into a double bed, where you can enjoy the view of an undisturbed starry sky. The bench can work well as a bed for two children, if you unfold the futon mattresses on top.

Apart from its distinctive expression, the igloo has been created with great respect for nature: Here you will find a spacious outdoor furniture and there is neither running water nor electricity, so you leave a minimal footprint on the nature around you. But your hosts make sure you get a five liter can of drinking water and a collection of useful things like a flashlight and a thermos, so you have everything you need.

The glass igloo is located in an open landscape with a beautiful spruce forest, which you have all to yourself. Here you can set off on trips through the fairytale forest, and if you're lucky you'll meet the king of the forest, the moose, on the way. Remember to take food and drink with you, because you can cook either in the storm kitchen outside, or on the hotplate on the wood stove inside.
