A quintessential Swedish retreat

Welcome to Anna’s holiday haven, nestled amidst fields and nature. The classic red house with white details evokes a genuine sense of nostalgia, honouring the timeless image of the Swedish holiday home.

Embracing the ‘crofter’ style, Anna prioritises refinement over renovation, creating a unique atmosphere.

This is just lovely, the house (color choices, how it’s snuck into the countryside), the interior (so harmonious) and THE GARDEN!

A profound connection to nature

Emma’s holiday home amidst nature’s tranquil embrace in Härjedalen is a place to experience every season unfold.

The unique characteristics of the place permeate every aspect of the home's design and decor, with a focus on simplicity, favouring functionality, timelessness, and durability in every piece of furniture and adornment.

This is such a beautiful place, inviting and full of timeless charm and seamless integration with nature. I love the wood on wood look.

Intentional simplicity and presence

Amelie and Oscar’s holiday home offers a lifestyle focused on simplicity, free from electricity and running water.

Nestled in untouched nature, the house encourages a hands-on, curious approach to daily life.

The perfect place to disconnect from the hectic pace of modern life and enjoy a slower, more straightforward way of living.

This house is so beautifully placed in the nature.

Karin Ohlsson-Leijon, Editor-in-Chief, Hus & Hem

Historical and contemporary style in perfect harmony

At Karin’s holiday home, simplicity meets conscious style, echoing the rich history of the surroundings.

Once a lime works and military outpost, the house offers a unique blend of heritage and luxury amidst the serene beauty of wild nature.

Days are spent in quiet bliss – waking up to sheep grazing and absolute tranquillity.

A very minimalist and yet elegant building that completely yields to the landscape.
