Payment methods

Available payment methods depend on your country and booking. These may include PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, Klarna and local providers like MobilePay.

You’ll see the exact options during checkout.

When to pay

You’ll usually pay when you book. If a stay is handled as a booking request instead, you’ll see your payment options once the host accepts. For some last-minute booking requests, payment may be required earlier.

How payment works

You pay securely online through Landfolk.

  • Landfolk securely processes your payment through our payment partner

  • The host receives the payment after check-out

This ensures a safe and reliable booking for both guests and hosts.

Split your payment

On eligible stays, you can pay 25% up front and the rest closer to check-in. Split payment is available when you still have 30 days to cancel with a full refund. A non-refundable fee of 1.6% + VAT applies.

Currency and pricing

The price you see includes rental, cleaning, utilities (water, heat and electricity) and insurance. There are no hidden booking fees or extra charges.

  • Prices are shown in your local currency where possible

  • Your booking currency is shown clearly before you pay

  • Your bank may apply a currency conversion fee

Security

Your payment is safe with Landfolk:

  • All transactions are encrypted

  • We never share your payment details with hosts

  • You are protected if something goes wrong with your booking
