Here you will go around the ”Bjergene” (The Mountains), which is one of Denmark's finest examples of the type of nature called dry grassland.
The route is also called the "View Route", as the many burial mounds you pass on the route are always located high in the landscape, with beautiful views over fields, bays, and fjords. The Gravhøjruten is a route that is best suited for the more experienced rider, due to the many ascents and the hilly terrain. The reward, however, is great, as the route offers a wealth of spectacular viewpoints.
