Together with VELUX, we're putting a spotlight on the holidays that leave us with the brightest holiday memories. It sometimes goes unnoticed, but it’s a different holiday when daylight pours in, fresh air moves through the rooms, and the sky feels a little closer.

Everyday life has a way of filling the calendar. There are meals to make, places to be and conversations we keep saving for another day. A holiday gives us room to do things differently. To let breakfast turn into lunch, follow a conversation wherever it goes or spend an afternoon without much of a plan.

The place we stay is part of that change of pace. Light moving across the room, an open window and a glimpse of the sky can make us notice our surroundings a little more. Sometimes, a new perspective starts with looking up.

At Landfolk, we handpick holiday homes for their personality and the feeling of being there. Together with VELUX, we’re putting a spotlight on one of the things that helps create that atmosphere: daylight.

The Daylight Collection brings together more than 100 handpicked Landfolk holiday homes, each with one or more VELUX roof windows. It’s an invitation to experience daylight, fresh air and views of the sky in homes made for a slower rhythm and time together.
