It's the epitome of real summer cosiness
Close to the North Sea with a short walk through the dunes
We are a family of six who love our little gem on the West Coast, the roar of the waves and the stunning scenery. Strandly and Slettestrand is a very special place for us. I've been coming here since I was born in my parents' cottage, and now we're so lucky to have our own in the middle of beautiful nature.
We love the smell, the tranquillity and the fact that the roaring Wester Sea is just across the dunes, which we have an uninterrupted panoramic view of from the cottage. Here we relax, swim, play on the beach, play board games, read the newspaper and drink a good cup of coffee while curling up on the sofa and enjoying the beautiful colours of the sun in a beautiful sunset.
Our favourite area is definitely the North Sea, which is just across the dunes, or a walk in the beautiful wild nature that Slettestrand offers. A good destination is also to follow the beach to the fishing boats and past the ice kiosk to buy ice cream. When we go out to eat it is at the famous Svinkløv Badehotel.
