I'm Nana and I'm a total sucker for undisturbed nature. That's why I fell in love with the little house on Sydmors. There's a tranquillity that I've never experienced before. The animals roam wild in the area, so I regularly meet both pheasants and deer. When the sun rises, it hits the house on one side and follows the house around until it sets again. A short walk and you are at the water. It's a rocky beach so there's always something to find, urchins, beautiful stones and shells, and if you're lucky, even a piece of amber. Oysters are plentiful in season. Blue mussels can also be picked up from the nearest beach. I enjoy the lovely little house, because I get to slow down, get away a bit, embrace the simpler things and nature around me.
I love my little house - especially sitting on the terrace and having a nice glass of wine, or throwing myself into the hammock in the nice weather. We barbecue with coals, light fires and go for walks in the area. Looking at the flora and fauna is also one of my favourite things. There's lots of bird life and lively wetlands.
