Among rocking grass dunes you will find silence

Somewhere between the dunes near Saltum in Vendsyssel is a cozy wooden house. With grass on the roof, the house blends beautifully into its natural surroundings. As you step inside, you're greeted by white painted walls and a classic, romantic cottage style with a modern touch. There are two soft, grassy dunes on the grounds. Climb one and enjoy 360-degree panoramic views. Take a pair of binoculars to the top and explore the distance. On a cloudless evening, you can watch a stunning colorful sunset over the sea from the other dune. There are also two terraces that offer something different. The secluded east terrace is sunny most of the day. Here you'll also find a gas barbecue, so it's a great place to enjoy your evening meal and feel the peace around you. The west terrace offers a more open experience with a beautiful view of the area.

There are plenty of opportunities to get active in the area around the cottage. Lace up your shoes and go for a brisk morning run or go for a mountain bike ride. It's also not far to a dip in the wild waves of the West Sea. Saltum beach with its fine white sand is so wide that you can drive on it. Take a trip from Rødhus to Løkken and experience a different kind of beach trip. If you have the kids with you, they will definitely enjoy a trip to Fårup Sommerland.
