We are a family of five; Michael, Mie and our three teenagers. Everyday life in Copenhagen is fast-paced, so we enjoy leaving the city on Fridays to hit the summer countryside in Vig Lyng on the weekends. Here we can relax and unplug when we need to. Most importantly, there is plenty of room for entertaining and being active. We love our newly built holiday home, and it has everything we have dreamed of after years of searching.
First and foremost, the area is perfect for walks and days without plans! We even love a trip to the beach, which is incredibly child-friendly. Strandlyst Streetfood (1 km away) is a family favorite with delicious food and occasional live music. A trip to the café at the end of the road is also always fun, whether it's for a game of mini golf, ice cream or a bite to eat.

Really lovely holiday home. New, fresh, well decorated and homely. You could feel that someone lives here, and it gave the atmosphere of calm I like. The feeling that if you had forgotten to buy extra coffee, it was Ok to use the one that was there - and then fill up again before departure :).
