At Rørvig, a fine white stone house lights up in front of the trees, which form silhouettes against the sky. Both the exterior and interior of the house have unique and beautiful architectural lines. Attention has been paid to detail, with well-chosen materials and colours creating harmony in the rooms. Relax with the family or let the surroundings inspire you to be creative. With both underfloor heating and two wood-burning stoves, you can spend wonderful winter weekends in beautiful Rørvig. On the ground floor, the beautiful wooden slats in the ceiling give a warmth to the rooms and draw a bit of nature inside. There is a lovely light through the large windows, which also provide a quiet view of the garden. Notice the details of the minimalist decor. The kitchen has plenty of life with its orange cabinets, while the living room has character with its green velour sofa. The staircase up to the first floor forms several artistic lines in the space and also serves as firewood storage. On the first floor, the ceiling is tiled, which, together with the pink floor, creates a very special atmosphere. Outside you can enjoy the sun on the large, lovely wooden terrace, while the fire pit invites you to cosy up and bake some snob bread. Let the children play on the trampoline, or enjoy fellowship and togetherness with a garden game. Take a 10-minute walk through the plantation and you'll find the white sandy beach with soft dunes and dune roses. It's a great place to lie back and laze away a day by the water.

Meet your host

Host since October 2022

My name is Cecilie. I live in Frederiksberg with my family. We love to come to the cottage where we find togetherness, peace and air. Every day we walk the dog around Dybesø and enjoy watching how the changing seasons create beautiful changes in the forest and the lake's colours and expressions. We also like to take a stroll across Højsande and down to the harbour to eat ice cream or fish for crabs.
