Authentic and peaceful forest house on Ordrup Strand

In this way, the people who have restored the house feel they are honoring the place for its fine qualities, its history and the gratitude for all the eternally beautiful nature that fills the place with its uniqueness.

The house is furnished with a high-ceilinged living room in open connection with the sitting room, a room with two sleeping places and a loft with four sleeping places. The bathroom is fitted with a shower - with an additional outdoor shower. But perhaps the most delightful room is that which sets the scene for the well-appointed carved kitchen with small dining area and access to the south-facing cobbled terrace area. A kind of enclosed space between the house, the adjoining annexe and the slightly cultivated natural grounds, which lean against the beautiful woodland planting towards the water. A small path leads through the forest to them spectacular beach. The annex is furnished with two bedrooms, each with a double bed, each with its own entrance from the garden and connected by a door in between, so you can have parents in one room and younger children in the other.

Ordrup Strand is located in the first row in the ever beautiful Odsherred - in the middle between the adventurous Karup Forest, Veddinge Hills and Fårevejle Station Town. The area is loved by gourmands, birdwatchers and hikers across the country - and on the international stage Odsherred is known as the first UNESCO-recognised geopark.

This house is part of the area's very first cottage development - built in 1930, and in recent years it has been thoroughly restored and extended, respecting the original design of the place. Less than 100 metres from one of the country's most beautiful beaches, within walking distance of Ordrup's charming street, within cycling distance of superb hiking and mountain biking routes and within driving distance of Odsherred's cosy harbour environment, Dragsholm Castle's refined gourmet experiences and one ancient monument after another.
