We bought our cottage in 2019 and love being in our cottage all year round either alone or with family and friends. Fall and winter are actually just as good as summer. The house is big enough for the whole family to stay overnight, and the annex can easily function as a separate house.
We love our 7000 m2 natural plot with unobstructed views of Ebeltoft Vig, Fuglsø, Helgenæs, Samsø and Tunø. We can even look across Helgenæs and glimpse the Lighthouse tower on Aarhus Ø. There are plenty of birds on our natural grounds, and deer and foxes also like to come by. The house is secluded on a dead-end road with no traffic in Ahl Plantage, so we feel like we have the whole area to ourselves.
We always start the day by walking along the path on our property down to the beach for a morning swim. The beach is very child-friendly and perfect for trips on our SUP boards. As the beach faces west, it's also a popular destination for kite surfers. The cottage is located in the Ahl area within walking/biking distance to Ebeltoft, where we like to stop by and enjoy the town's shops, restaurants and fine cultural offerings. We also enjoy walking and cycling in Ahl Plantation right next to the house, riding the MTB route in Ebeltoft or going for a walk in Mols Bjerge.

The summer house is ideally located with a beautiful sea view, close to the beach and close to Ebeltoft town. The house is fantastically furnished with everything you need, good beds and perfect for two families. We enjoyed every moment!
