In the Rosemary House, nothing is missing. Here you sleep well, eat well and sit well. The coffee cups are nice to hold, the barbecue is easy to fire up, and should the worst happen, the utility room is also ready for a quick wash.

In the bedrooms, you won't find much other than the bed you'll be sleeping in. There's room for rest and relaxation here, but just in case there are curious little ones with you, let them peek under the bed in the kids' room. Here they'll find toys for all ages and interests.
The garden is full of cosy little nooks and crannies, where adults can enjoy a glass of wine on one of the many benches, and children can play treasure hunt and den or swing. The garden is completely fenced in, so children can explore and adventure in the wild garden with strawberry path and scrub without the adults having to worry about them running off. In spring, the garden is full of ramsons, and as we move into summer, there are rhubarb and raspberries too. All year round there is oregano, thyme and of course rosemary. Homemade rosemary syrup is always in stock for drinks and desserts.
The Rosemary House undoubtedly invites you to all the good things that cottage life has to offer. You can go to bed with the window ajar and hear the waves crashing, and first thing in the morning you can light up the wood-burning stove and take your coffee to the garden. Let the peace descend.

The beach is only a 5-minute walk away and is great for both children and adults
Both children and adults feel their shoulders drop a few extra centimetres when we land in the Rosemary House. We are two families with children who share our oasis away from Nørrebro and Copenhagen. The youngest resident is 3 and the oldest is 38, and our place has activities for both of them and everyone in between.
Here we enjoy the peace and quiet of the garden, mornings on the sofa playing cards and afternoons on the beach, at the harbour or on a trip to the magnificent nature and world heritage site, Stevns Klint.
We enjoy that the beach is only five minutes away, Boesdal limestone quarry with UNESCO visitor center, Stevns cold war museum and not least Rødvig fishing harbor. Here you get Denmark's best fish cakes and great cold ice cream. In Rødvig Ferieby there is a rabbit playground, and at Faxe Geomuseum, you can look for fossils in the limestone quarry. We also like to go on boat trips from the harbour and of course flea hunting in Store Heddinge.
