I have had a cottage in Rørvig for many years and took over this lovely cottage here in 2016. For my family and I Rørvig has a big place in our hearts - after 21 years and all summer holidays here, we feel at home
Arriving at the house on a Friday afternoon for the weekend is very special. First I round the harbour and smell the sea before heading for the house. In winter we light the wood stove first thing, the sound and smell are lovely, - in summer it's the cushions that come out in the chairs and my shoulders slowly settle.
I love exploring the Plantation, dog walking through the trails to North Beach. If we need good food, Rørvig Streetfood and Rørvig Kro are not far away. A visit to Rørvig Harbour is a must. The North Beach is so beautiful and fine. I think I would put it in the top 5 of Denmark's best beaches.. But the rampart, the beach after the harbour, in the bay, has a special place in my heart. It is where my family and I belong, an early morning, or dinner on the beach, or just sit and enjoy the ferry ml Hundested and Rørvig. Rørvig goes straight to my heart
