In Bjerghuse between the fjord and the North Sea lies a seaside village with a history. What was once a children's colony in the 1950s is now a gathering place where you can bring the community on holiday and get closer to each other. In the seaside village you will find closeness and simplicity in the small cabins, where there is only one room for both sleeping and staying.
The huts have a cosy atmosphere. When you enter, you are surrounded by wooden walls and functional furnishings. Make yourself a cup of coffee in the kitchenette and sit around the small folding table on the wall. You can also make a pot of lemonade and drink it outside in the sun on the terrace. In the bathroom you can have a cold shower after a long, hot day. If you come in winter, you can warm your towel on the towel dryer. When evening comes in the cottage, you can gather on the sofa and share memories of the day that has passed before you go to bed.
In the seaside village you can rent the eleven cabins. There is plenty of opportunity to socialise in the large communal house, which acts as an extension of the lodge living room. You can also grill sausages on the barbecue in the outdoor area around the communal house. And if your evening meal needs a little flavour, you can probably find some herbs in the kitchen garden. At the fire pit you can sit all evening telling stories or roasting marshmallows as the light slowly fades.

We are the Nykjær Jeppesen family: Jesper, Helle, Carla, Sylvester and Liv, and we are behind Fjand Badeby. We have been coming to Bjerghuse for many years and it has always been a place for relaxation, family time and nature experiences. With lots of help from family and friends, in 2019 and 2020 we have renovated and reinterpreted the colony, and we look forward to welcoming you.
We love that Badebyen is located in the middle of the North Sea, Nissum Fjord and Husby Dune Plantation, so there are opportunities both to find peace and contemplation, but also to be active with hiking along marked trails, kitesurfing on the fjord or horseback riding by the water.

Your are free to cancel bookings within 48 hours after receiving a booking confirmation or until 60 days before the agreed time of arrival for a full refund. Until 30 days before the agreed time of arrival, you can cancel for a 50% refund. If you cancel less than 30 days before the agreed time of arrival you will not be refunded.
