Description

The beautiful, small cottage is decorated in Nordic style with a fine and personal mix of flea finds, design classics and vintage, which creates an incredibly comfortable atmosphere. Here is bright, cozy and nice to be. The living rooms have several cozy nooks, and at one end of the living room you will find two daybeds close to the wood stove. Here you can make time to go with hot cocoa and a book on the gray days. From the kitchen there is an incredible view of the fjord, and here you will find a fine collection of ceramics and mugs, collected over time - here things are not the same, but selected in the finest way. The kitchen has everything you need to invite the family to dinner - you can enjoy it in the beautiful dining room or open the large double doors and occupy the terrace in the sun's rays. In the garden there is a trampoline and a swing set, and there are plenty of things for outdoor play. King games, ladder golf, badminton nets and football goals are ready to be put to use for summer fun and trouble. The garden is fenced in so you can bring your dog with you - your best friend, the dog, is of course welcome, but please do not lie in the furniture. For the cottage there are also two inflatable canoes with room for three people in each. There are also two paddle tables and one can spend many hours on or in the water. The child-friendly bathing beach is only a stone's throw from the house. Here you can also find the delicious mussel bank on one side of the bathing jetty, so that dinner can consist of Moules Frites. If you come in late summer, there are large bushes with the most delicious blackberries that can be picked and baked pies or made into jam.

Marlene & Jacob

We are a family of five consisting of Jacob, Marlene and our 2 boys of 6 and 13 years - and our dog Cody. We live in Odense on a daily basis, and in 2015 we found a rough gem 100 meters from the water by the Limfjord at Mors. A small cottage, which today has become our commonplace, and where the cottage atmosphere embraces us from the moment we arrive. The daily routines are forgotten and the holiday home memories begin with cosiness in the house, play in the garden, endless walks by the beach, experiences in the local area or daseri on the terrace. We have deliberately chosen to have a holiday home that is far away from our place of residence, because it makes us feel like we are going on holiday, even if we just drive up there for a weekend. We go for many walks by the beach when we are in the cottage. The Limfjord offers many beautiful stones, oysters and mussel shells that you can collect directly on the beach - and then you also spend many hours catching crabs from the bathing jetty. We love to visit some of the many cozy flea markets in the area, and the couple at the flea farm, which is just a short walk from the cottage, is open almost every weekend during the summer period. Mors also offers many exciting experiences such as Hanklit, Molermuseet, where you can dig for your own fossils, Jesperhus or Skarregaard. Inside Nykøbing you can also take a trip to the cinema or visit the cozy shops. If you love to ride a mountain bike, there is the most beautiful course in the woods at Legind Bjerge with four routes of a total of 43 km.
