Staying at the vacation home has been a wonderful experience; it’s tastefully decorated and is in a beautiful location right by the water and the beach. The house is perfect for a family with children of various ages.

The house is beautifully situated in the dunes; you can take a quick walk to the beach and go on lovely hikes! You can take a leisurely walk to Blokhus in under an hour! It’s absolutely quiet in the house—you don’t hear any cars… just the sound of the sea! The sauna is brand new and gets up to 100 degrees! The beds are super comfortable, and the view while cooking is one-of-a-kind! The fireplace also gets really nice and warm!

It’s a really nice vacation home! Plenty of space for a large group—just not if you want to sit together on the sofa, which seats 4–5 people; the rest of the house can accommodate up to 12 people, so there aren’t enough seats for everyone to relax. Otherwise, everything is top-notch! One small complaint is that the owner is a bit stingy: You’d feel more welcome if there had just been a little toilet paper on the rolls (I had brought rolls with me, but imagine if I’d forgotten—we would’ve been in a bind until someone went to get some at Brugsen). I left behind both toilet paper rolls and paper towels; I hope the next guests will benefit from them. The same goes for the dish soap—there was only a very, very small amount left in the bottle. It seems a bit stingy. We didn’t use either the outdoor shower or the sauna, so I can’t comment on those.

It’s a cozy house with plenty of space. However, the walls are thin, so it’s very noisy. This isn’t ideal with a small baby who’s a bit sensitive. Additionally, the kitchen wasn’t the cleanest; we had to wash most of the kitchenware before using it because it was quite dirty. The coffee maker wasn’t clean either—actually a bit gross—so we didn’t really use it. There wasn’t enough gas for the grill. There isn’t much hot water; only one person could take a shower before the water turned cold. The duvets and pillows were quite discolored with several yellow stains. Other than that, there was basically everything we needed for a couple of cozy days.

What a fantastic cabin! Beautifully decorated with large windows that brought us close to nature and the sea. The weather was a bit rough, so we really enjoyed ourselves in front of the fireplace. A lovely hiking area surrounded by beautiful nature. We went swimming every day, no matter the weather.
