We had a wonderful week at the vacation home in Rørvig. Every single morning, we started the day with a swim in the sea. We could practically roll right out of bed and into the beautiful turquoise waves of the Kattegat, which stretch right from our backyard. The only downside is that you have to park your car 200 meters away and carry all your luggage up to the house, but that’s precisely because of the beautiful surroundings.

This forest cabin is a dream! The view and the location are fantastic. The cabin is super practical, sustainable, and incredibly cozy at the same time. We didn’t go anywhere during our three days there—there are great hikes right outside the front door, and the kids loved picking blueberries and lingonberries. Today we were woken up by the tinkling bells of the sheep. And in the evening, we watched the sunset from the hammock. Pure idyll! A real gem!
