It’s a lovely house to stay in—bright and welcoming, with a very personal decor that makes you feel at home, even though you’re a guest. We really enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen. It had everything we could have wanted for cooking and baking together. We even found a baking stone for sourdough rolls. The books and the garden invite you to lose yourself in thought and simply be, and both inside the house and on the lovely terrace, there’s furniture for every kind of relaxation. We stayed at the vacation home with our adult children, and it was perfectly suited for that.

The house immediately gives you that vacation feeling. It’s cozily furnished. It’s compact, yet it has everything you need. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Thanks to its layout, you can enjoy the sun in different spots at various times of day. There are lovely flower beds with lavender and verbena. In the evening, the lights and a small campfire under the stars create a fairy-tale atmosphere. Every now and then, a deer quietly trots through the garden. The sea wasn’t particularly inviting during our stay. But on Møn, distances are short, and on the north side of the island (near the container bar!), the beach and the sea are absolutely stunning. “Møns Klint” is, of course, a highlight—it’s indescribable. You simply have to experience it. And during a visit to “Liselund,” you’ll feel as if you’ve stepped into another world. Stege is a friendly little village. Møn may seem like a small peninsula, but spending a week—or perhaps longer—there allows you to forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
