Holiday homes close to the beach

The vacation home is in a fantastic location. From the kitchen/living room, you can look out onto the Baltic Sea, which is just about 50 meters away and accessible via a small path. In between lies a beautiful heathland landscape. It’s really nice to just sit outside the house and enjoy nature. The house is very cozy, with a lovely living room featuring a dining area and kitchenette. It also includes a children’s room with a bunk bed, a small bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower. Another bedroom is located in a small cottage right next to the front door. Endelave is a very beautiful island with small woods, meadows, and a coastline. There’s a large rabbit population that can be seen in many parts of the island, especially starting in the late afternoon. It’s wonderful to observe nature. The main village has two restaurants, a local history museum, and a small art exhibition by the water. There are also many roadside stands selling vegetables from the garden or preserves. We had a wonderful and relaxing time!

We had a great time! So close to the beach and fun stuff for kids in the area. Very pretty area all up north and the beach is very secluded. The house quiet and cozy :)

A really beautiful home and a lovely garden! Just walk down the street and you’re at the beach. There are also plenty of other spots worth visiting in the area. We enjoyed our time at the house. The cottage was tidy. Unfortunately, not all bedrooms had curtains, and where they were present, they weren’t blackout curtains and weren’t of very good quality. Also, no bed linens were provided, which incurs additional costs. A linen package costs about 25 euros per person.

The Brinken vacation home exceeded our expectations in every way. Everything is new, clean, and tastefully decorated. There’s the perfect spot to sit inside and around the house for any time of day and any weather. We especially loved the view of the sea. We explored the island on foot and with rental bikes (note: the climb up to the north coast is quite strenuous on rickety three-speed bikes, especially when it’s windy) and felt right at home from the very first minute. I’d say the house is ideal for 2–4 people. With 6 people, you might run into space issues because of the luggage. The master bedroom has a single-door closet and coat hooks on the wall; in the other two rooms (one with a queen-size bed and a clothes ladder in front of it, and the other with two single beds and nothing else), you’ll have to live out of your suitcase. But it’s all manageable if you’re prepared for it in advance. The host, Betty, is very friendly and helpful. Communication through the Landfolk portal worked perfectly. Upon departure, we met her briefly in person, which we really enjoyed. This has given us an even stronger personal connection to this wonderful place. We highly recommend the house. The home is perfect for meeting a variety of needs. It is situated in the middle of a quiet vacation home area. We like that there is no paved road next to the house; the occasional passing car drives slowly, making the noise almost unnoticeable. An attractive beach is close by, and the shore is great for walks. With its large garden, the house offers wonderful opportunities to play with kids. With its outdoor shower, it is obviously great after you spent a swim in the sea. Due to its proximity to Aarhus and other charming smaller locations like Norsminde, the location is also pretty weather-proof and well-suited for rainy days.
