Holiday homes near a forest

A cozy rural retreat in peaceful surroundings. The house was beautifully decorated, and the kitchen had everything we needed. A small living room and a nice bedroom. The younger guests could sleep in the house’s loft. The house got a bit bright in the morning, so you either had to get up early or remember to bring sleep masks. The old farmhouse was pleasantly cool, so it was a good idea to bring slippers for the cold floor.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and had such a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The large windows filled the space with natural light, and the thoughtful design made it feel warm, bright, and inviting. It was an easy walk to the beach, with excellent restaurants nearby, making it the perfect place to relax and spend quality time with family. We would happily stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Line’s vacation home. It’s just so cozy—truly hyggelig. Very stylishly decorated, wonderfully equipped, and clean. We felt right at home. You have a fantastic view across the bay, since the house is located in a small, charming, typical Danish vacation home community but sits slightly elevated. So you look out over the other houses with an unobstructed view into the distance. It’s also a great starting point for bike rides in the Mols Mountains, days at the sandy beach in Greena, and we loved just driving into Aarhus after relaxing and reading at the house. Aarhus is beautiful. Charming, dreamy alleyways, strolling through the numerous thrift stores or small boutiques, getting creative at the CreativSpaces in the old town, the art museum, the new Harbor City, the food halls, or Den Gamle By—there’s simply so much to discover and experience, and it’s the perfect place to just unwind. We absolutely loved the house and its surroundings. It’s quite strange to sit in front of the house or on the jetty and not see or hear anything man-made – just pure, unadulterated nature. There was a mishap with our booking, but the host handled it well and promptly. In my opinion, that’s a great sign of a good host.

Direct view of the lake—truly gorgeous. The house is very well-equipped. We had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, it’s located right next to the highway, so it’s quite noisy. The path to the beach involves a long walk along the road. The beach is very beautiful, and there are plenty of raspberries to pick. The bathroom is quite small and not suitable for large groups. It also smells musty despite constant ventilation. We felt very comfortable in the garden and really enjoyed playing ball and other activities there. The house is a bit older and has thin walls, but it’s very nicely furnished. Highly recommended!
