Everything in the place works perfectly, and there’s a wonderful lounge sofa to sink into… the fireplace is just perfect! All the fun spots in the area are easily accessible. We had a great time!

For people who love nature, peace and quiet, and want to escape the hustle and bustle, this is a wonderful vacation home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there with our family (including the hot tub and sauna). Sissel and Brendan were also very helpful when we had questions. A unique and relaxing experience. At first, it takes a little while to figure out how everything works since the cottage is off-grid, but once you get the hang of it, everything runs smoothly.

This forest cabin is a dream! The view and the location are fantastic. The cabin is super practical, sustainable, and incredibly cozy at the same time. We didn’t go anywhere during our three days there—there are great hikes right outside the front door, and the kids loved picking blueberries and lingonberries. Today we were woken up by the tinkling bells of the sheep. And in the evening, we watched the sunset from the hammock. Pure idyll! A real gem!
