The house is in a wonderful, secluded location by the lake. However, you should know that it lacks some amenities when it comes to “bathrooms and water.” There’s an outdoor shower, but no running water. You have to get your water from the lake. It didn’t bother us, though, because the location and surroundings more than make up for it 😊

We visited Vibeke’s lovely vacation home in the summer of 2026. The property and the vacation home itself are absolutely fantastic. The living room is large, spacious, and incredibly cozy. The bedrooms provide the perfect setting, and there’s a fantastic kids’ room that our girls used a lot. The outdoor area is also something special, with plenty to do on the trampoline, the zip line, or just relaxing in the wilderness bath.
