We loved the country house from the moment we arrived! The location offers exactly the peace and relaxation you want for a short break. The surroundings exude a wonderful rural idyll that is perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The vacation home itself is an absolute gem. The loving and high-quality furnishings give the house a very special, authentic charm that immediately creates a warm and cozy atmosphere. You can see in every detail that it has been furnished with a lot of passion and taste. The quality of the furnishings is first-class throughout. We were particularly impressed by the attention of our host: when we arrived, all the fireplaces were already lit and the lamps were on – this immediately created an incredibly welcoming atmosphere. These small but important details show how much the host cares about the well-being of his guests. The two nights passed far too quickly, and we enjoyed every minute in this beautiful setting. The late check-out and the opportunity to taste the farm's own beer rounded off a perfect stay. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

We had a wonderful stay The house is very cozy. The dining room faces the dike, so it's the heart of the house. The kitchen is beautiful, and the house has many nice and fun interior details. I love: The two large Burgundy wine glasses The old/original blue doorstep in the hallway Drawing materials for children The little things you might need: lighter/eraser/rubber bands in the kitchen The fun signs and beautiful pictures The bathrobes The LED lamps Sharp knives in the kitchen drawers The water hose and shoe brush outside All kinds of chargers The comfortable beds And lots of other things The house feels like home! 3 minutes to the beach and 5 minutes to the harbor We would love to come back.

The vacation home is in a quiet location on the edge of a residential area near the woods, but also close to the beach. It is small but incredibly cozy. The fireplace is a particular highlight!

Our stay at Anne and Frode’s cabin was truly a dream! They are such warm and welcoming hosts, greeting us with flowers and champagne to celebrate our honeymoon. The cabin is every bit as beautiful as in the photos — nestled in the forest, with breathtaking views from every room. It offers everything you could need: a well-equipped kitchen, a kayak and boat for exploring the fjord, and an annex house with a second bedroom and a relaxing sauna. We absolutely loved our time there and can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful week in the middle of the Swedish wilderness. The house can be reached after a 10-minute drive along gravel roads, deeper and deeper into the forest. But you are completely alone there and the surroundings are beautiful. Wonderful! The vacation home is very comfortably furnished and equipped with the essentials. However, you have to be prepared for the fact that there is no running water here. You can filter lake water for drinking, washing up, etc. The toilet is an outhouse. A headlamp for nighttime trips to the toilet is a must-have in your luggage ;) Electricity is provided by a small solar panel. The battery lasted us even during continuous drizzly weather. However, for energy-intensive appliances such as the coffee machine or the submersible pump for the pool, you will need to switch on a gasoline-powered generator from time to time. We only used the fireplace for heating and were provided with more than enough firewood. Gas and diesel heating would also have been available. If you are looking for peace and seclusion and can do without a few luxuries, this is the place for you. It was perfect for us!

The stay was very satisfying, and the cabin is a place we would gladly choose again. The living room was very cozy and well suited for enjoyable game nights, and the view was both beautiful and relaxing. The surrounding area offered many opportunities to explore nature. Since there was still little snow, we chose the hiking trails at Fageråsen. There we found several beautiful routes and lots of beautiful nature. All in all, a very good stay that comes highly recommended!
