Six of us stayed in all three apartments of this beautiful, very well-maintained farmhouse and felt very comfortable right from the start. The middle apartment in particular quickly became the center of our stay: the spacious, beautifully designed kitchen with a large dining table offered plenty of room for shared meals and long, convivial evenings. All apartments are lovingly and comfortably furnished and each has a fireplace, which gives the house a warm, cozy atmosphere. The connecting garden is also tastefully landscaped and invites you to linger outside and enjoy the peace and quiet. The location of the house is wonderfully quiet – right at the foot of a forest. A beautiful forest path leads to Lake Scharmützel in about 45 minutes, perfect for walks or excursions into nature. There were also plenty of shopping opportunities within easy reach in the surrounding area. All in all, a very nice stay that we would recommend anytime.

An absolutely fantastic place. Plenty of space, well-equipped house from living room to attic, beds for several families. We were two families, mom, dad, and kids * 2. Kids aged 9, 7, 5, and 2. Everyone had a blast. It was a pleasure to communicate with the hosts, who were attentive, friendly, and welcoming.

A really great house: well-designed architecture including a spacious sauna and a masonry heater that generates wonderful warmth, beautiful and tasteful furnishings, and amenities that leave nothing to be desired. Tanja and Rolf are wonderful, helpful landlords—great! The area was exactly what we wanted: on the outskirts of town and yet surrounded by nature, not far from the Baltic Sea (you can get there quickly by bike). The historic Panker estate is worth a visit and is also in the immediate vicinity. Nearby infrastructure: the small town of Lütjenburg with shopping facilities and a good market two days a week. And if you like good food: the 'Strandlächeln' (approx. 10-15 min. away by car) is worth a visit.
