The vacation home is even more beautiful than it looks in the sample photos. The hosts have added even more lovely touches, such as the sunshade on the terrace with the string of solar-powered lights. The art pieces are very beautiful, as is the terraced garden, which has a “wildly romantic” feel. The location is ideal—surrounded by nature, yet within easy reach of shops and restaurants. There’s so much to discover in the Ardèche region.

The view through the large floor-to-ceiling windows is simply one-of-a-kind, and the tranquility on Kårholmen makes your stay truly special. We’d especially like to highlight Annika: She is an exceptionally warm, attentive, and caring host. From our very first message to the day we left, we felt completely taken care of. You can tell how much love and passion she puts into this house and that the well-being of her guests is truly close to her heart. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back anytime. Highly recommended... the hosts went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. The cottage was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated. A peaceful and lovely atmosphere. A great location by the river with a swimming dock. We were very satisfied and would love to come back again. It was nice that we could buy freshly baked bread in the morning and the most delicious coffee and pastries from the café that Petra and Danne run right next to the cottage. It’s a warm and cozy vacation home. A lot of thought has gone into the details, and the house has everything you need. The rooms aren’t very large, but they’re very cozy and painted in different colors for each room. Life takes place in the living room/kitchen and on the patio. Our teenagers loved the spa bath and sauna. We are so happy with our stay.

We felt wonderfully at home in the house and on the property. Everything has been designed with great attention to detail. The igloo-style sauna is a highlight, but everything in the house is also well thought out. The hosts are warm and pleasantly easygoing. The house was large, clean, and cozy, with all the amenities you could want! Our stay was great! We didn’t find some of the items listed in the ad (bicycles, kayaks, etc.), but then again, we didn’t ask either. We were a large group, and the kitchenware and other amenities met our needs—big thumbs up! We’re very happy with the accommodation and with Jessica as our host.

You’re greeted by the most charming house, and the style was consistent throughout. We arrived under bright sunshine, which was the icing on the cake. The water was wonderfully close by, and the dog took regular dips, so the stay was pure bliss for both two- and four-legged guests. The seventh bed was, somewhat amusingly, all the way out under the roof, and you have to be prepared to squeeze in—so the house is really only ideal for 6 people.
