It was a super cozy cottage where you could relax in front of the wood-burning stove or look out over the water, take a nice walk across Dalby Bay at low tide. The only downside was that there weren't enough kitchen utensils and pots and pans.

The vacation home exceeded our expectations. First of all, it is perfectly located, surrounded by beautiful nature, right on a lake with a view of the village of Vrådal. The amenities leave nothing to be desired. Stove, sauna, washing machine... everything is top-notch. But what really makes this a "5-star*" experience is the warm, personal welcome from the owners. In addition to the Christmas decorations in and around the vacation home, we were greeted with a warm fire in the fireplace when we arrived at around 9:15 p.m. This extra touch is by no means a given and completely delighted our travel group. Thank you very much for a wonderful, relaxing week in your home, dear Anne Trine and Tor.

The house was sparkling clean and very well maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable trip. The layout is practical and cozy, and there’s plenty of space for everyone to relax. The large garden was a real highlight—perfect for kids to run around and for adults to unwind with a coffee in the sun. The host was exceptional: warm, responsive, and genuinely thoughtful. Check‑in was smooth, communication was quick and helpful, and we always felt well taken care of. It’s rare to find this combination of friendliness and professionalism, and it made a big difference to our stay. The location is fantastic—close to everything we wanted to see and do, yet peaceful and quiet in the evenings.
