We highly recommend Gitte’s fantastic vacation home in Hou near Hals. The house has been recently renovated; it’s truly lovely and full of charm. We had a wonderful long weekend here and felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The cottage is located in the cozy cottage area of Mikkelmark, where there is plenty of peace and fresh air around the houses, without it feeling deserted. The house itself is very nicely decorated and has everything you need for a wonderful stay. For us, it was also a big plus that the house was so child-friendly. There were plenty of great children’s books, a trampoline, and a sandbox, so our little 2-year-old boy was kept well occupied. All in all, a truly lovely place that we would very much like to return to.
