Jogledalen's right on your doorstep—a lush valley perfect for leisurely walks and little adventures. Welcome to our beautiful cabin in Fidjeland, completed in 2023. Here, you'll be staying in the heart of some of the most beautiful nature Sirdal has to offer, with magnificent views of the mountains, ski-in/ski-out access, and fantastic nature experiences right outside your door.
Right behind the cabin, Hilleknuten (1,209 metres above sea level) rises as a striking landmark and one of the area’s most beautiful hiking destinations. In the immediate vicinity, you’ll find a variety of peaks, mountain lakes and hiking trails that invite you to enjoy both short afternoon hikes and longer mountain adventures. For the adventurous, Kjerag and the world-famous Kjeragbolten are within easy driving distance, along with some of Norway’s most spectacular natural wonders. In the summer, crystal-clear mountain lakes, fishing, swimming, SUP tours, berry picking, and abundant wildlife await. It’s not uncommon to spot moose, deer, grouse and sheep while hiking in the area. In winter, you can strap on your skis right at the cabin and enjoy groomed cross-country trails and downhill slopes right outside the door.
The large windows and high ceilings provide a unique sense of closeness to nature year-round. After a day out in the mountains, you can gather around the fireplace, enjoy the view of the landscape, or prepare delicious meals together in the cabin’s spacious living area.
