Cabin with sea view and jetty on Killingholmen

The cabin is a peaceful retreat with a beautiful view of the lake, located just fifty meters below our other cabin. You’ll enjoy both the first soft rays of sunshine on the terrace in the morning and the warm evening sun. The large electric awning allows you to sit outside even when the sun is at its hottest.

The location is one of the things that makes this cabin extra special. It’s nestled in a sheltered spot, well protected from the wind, yet close enough to the lake that you always feel the water’s presence. This creates a sense of tranquility that’s hard to find elsewhere.

In the yard, you’ll find a trampoline, and there’s plenty of space to pitch a tent when family or friends come to visit. The cove below the cabin is a little paradise for water activities—here you can swim, paddle, or simply enjoy life by the water’s edge.

NOTE: Please note that the cabin is located on an island, so a boat is required to reach it. The boat is included in your stay, but a deposit of NOK 7,500 is required. This covers any damages or the deductible for the insurance company in the event of an accident. The deposit will be refunded in full immediately after your stay, provided no damages have occurred. - Contact the host for more information.

On the island, there is a beautiful trail leading to a mountaintop with a bench and views of the fjord. Visit the stone-oven bakery on Håøya, explore Sætre with its pubs, art gallery and sauna on the jetty, or experience the historic Oscarsborg Fortress and museum, or charming Drøbak with its cafés in old wooden houses.
