Newly built log cabin near Hardangervidda

Welcome to a newly built log cabin in the heart of Skurdalen, where you can enjoy the peace and quiet and panoramic views of Hardangervidda. The cabin combines traditional architecture with a turf roof and modern facilities such as running water, electricity, and Wi-Fi.

Inside, you will find an open-plan living room and kitchen with a wood-burning stove and underfloor heating. The cabin has two bedrooms – one with a double bed and one with a family bunk bed – as well as a bathroom with shower and toilet. All the equipment you need for a comfortable stay is provided.

From the cabin, you have direct access to hiking trails and ski trails that take you into nature. The property is located in peaceful surroundings with views of the mountains.

You can explore the Hallingskarvet, Hardangervidda, and Reineskarvet national parks, go on summit hikes to Ustetind or Tuva tourist cabin, or visit Hovdetrappa in Skurdalen. In winter, the area is snow-sure with opportunities for cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, and dog sledding.
