Renovated 1960s house by Humbæk stream on sydals

The heart of the house is the living room, featuring a large floor-to-ceiling glass facade. The kitchen is custom-built in oiled oak with cabinet fronts and countertops made of natural linoleum. The rooms are thoughtfully designed with a focus on materials in every detail.

The spacious, south-facing terrace is built of larch wood and extends directly from the living room. The house is located right by the Humbæk stream, where you’ll hear the sound of running water rather than traffic noise. The surroundings consist of old trees and open fields in a small village far from typical tourist areas.

In the area, you’ll find Hummelmade, a meadow accessible via a small path leading down to the water, which serves as a habitat for starlings, lapwings, shelducks, and wigeons for much of the year. Mommark Marina and Beach are nearby, and on the other side, you’ll find Kærneland Beach with a view of the Kegnæs Lighthouse.
