The accommodations (inside and out) were absolutely beautiful—everything was chosen with such style, and they used great materials during the renovation. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the best part for us was the coffee maker—which makes fantastic coffee. We always miss that a little back in Denmark. We also used the Wilderness Bath, and it was definitely a highlight for everyone. Lying in the hot tub heated by the stove and gazing out at the beautiful natural surroundings was simply wonderful!
Shopping is a bit far away, but if you have a car, you can easily stock up on supplies.
I think the house is also in a great location; we went on lots of trips in every direction. Nyborg and Svendborg aren’t far, and Odense is also easily accessible. Beautiful beaches, museums, boat tours, Egeskov Castle… Our favorite beach was probably the one in Lundeborg (about 15–20 minutes from the house)—a sandy beach with an ice cream shop serving delicious gelato and hot dogs. We’d go back anytime! Thanks, Stine!
