A mill from 1202 on two islands in Eure-et-Loir

This mill, dating back to 1202, sits within a 4,200 m² estate on the banks of the Loir, inside the Natura 2000 protected zone. Two islands, reached by two bridges and a footbridge, surround it. You have eight bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and a restored bread oven cottage — all within 135 km of Paris via the A6.

The 450 m² mill spans four floors. Ground-floor reception rooms include a vestibule, winter and summer lounges, a dining room, and a bespoke professional kitchen with larder and laundry. Upper floors hold six en-suite rooms. On the third floor, you'll find the principal suite beneath an exposed 18th-century timber frame and a cinema room.

The garden was designed by landscape architect Tim Guest, weaving planting and stone together. The southern island holds the restored 55 m² cottage, with a lounge, open kitchen, two upstairs bedrooms, and a light-filled winter garden with veranda. The northern island is lined with walnut, cherry, willow, and maple trees along the riverbank.
