This beautiful and carefully renovated house from 1929 is located on beautiful Langeland. The house exudes aesthetic nostalgia with its original mullioned windows, brown bricks and scrubbed facade. Inside, old tiles, patinated furniture, soft colors and light wooden floors set the mood, while black-stained oak wood is used to create an elegant connection between the rooms.
In the interior you'll find a wonderful mix of designer lamps, art and unique flea market finds. For example, notice the beautiful vintage marble sink from 1907 in the bathroom or the antique tapestry from Milan in one of the bedrooms. Moving from the bright dining room into the alluring, dark brown living room, you'll feel an atmospheric shift, while in the butter yellow kitchen you can enjoy the special light from the soft spotlights and a Murano glass plafond on the ceiling combined with the afternoon sun.
Outside in the backyard, you'll find a tranquil view of the neighboring apple orchard and the open field with pheasants and grazing deer, while the many cozy nooks invite the little ones to play. Have a barbecue around the deep green long table in elegant steel and enjoy a shower under the outdoor shower in the evening sun. If you fancy a refreshing dip in the sea, you can follow one of the cozy forest paths down to the beach.

Feel the soul surrounded by the original details of the lovingly renovated house from 1929
Settle into the atmospheric interior with beautiful design and vintage furniture
Enjoy the tranquility of the garden with its many nooks and crannies and beautiful views of the open field
We're a family of five from Copenhagen who love aesthetics and have put a lot of love into creating the perfect sanctuary at Smørslottet - our beautiful house from 1929. Here we and our little brown cat often spend time together. When we're here, the harbor and beach are an absolute favorite for both children and adults. We also always find lots of great flea market gold around the area or visit the cozy little farm shops. Dageløkke Harbour, which was completely renovated in 2023, is another of our favorite places. Here we can let our minds wander and feel transported abroad around the atmospheric Café Tapas and Wine Bar. In addition, there are many local farm shops where you can get the freshest produce.
Hope you will enjoy it as much as we do

Casper & Christina’s house is fantastic - t is perfect to relax and refill your batteries. We could enjoy both nature (the house is surrounded by a huge green area and you can reach the beach within a few minutes) and the unique and elegant vintage interior carefully selected by our hosts.
