My name is Helle and I live near Galten between Aarhus and Silkeborg.
My holiday home at Boeslum Strand means a lot to me. My uncle bought the land, which I was lucky enough to inherit, in the 70s and I came there as a child when all the trees were small and newly planted.
The cottage is 104 square meters, built with good and sustainable materials and was completed in 2018 - and it's exactly how I want it. I especially love the large terrace, where I spend a lot of time when the weather permits.
Most of the garden has been left to grow wild as I want to do something for the animals and biodiversity. Therefore, there is a lot of wildlife on the plot, with many butterflies and dragonflies, birds, squirrels etc. which I enjoy.
Ebeltoft is three kilometers away with lots of shopping opportunities and where you'll also find Maltfabrikken, which offers a café, street food and live music in the courtyard. There are several cozy old inns and the harbor has a lovely atmosphere, the best fish shop, a few good restaurants - and of course the frigate Jylland, which is worth a visit.
But above all, Mols offers some fantastic nature experiences. In Mols Bjerge you can visit Trehøje, Agri Bavnehøj and Molslaboratoriet and from the house there are approx. 200 meters to Djursland's best beach, where I love to go for walks all year round.
