A seaside house with private dock on the Oslofjord

You’ll wake up to the sound of waves and take your morning swim just a few steps from the door. Here, you’ll stay right on the water’s edge along the Oslofjord, with your own dock and boat—perfect for peaceful days by the water. This is a place for those seeking peace and quiet, who appreciate the finer details and want a relaxed atmosphere. The cabin is located on an island, so a boat is required to reach it.

Both bedrooms have heat pumps and air conditioning for a comfortable temperature year-round, and there are two cribs in the cabin. In the living room, you’ll find a fireplace for cozy evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee maker, dishwasher, refrigerator, and freezer. The bathroom has underfloor heating and a washing machine.

You’ll have access to a spacious, private garden with plenty of seating, a grill, and a large dining area. An electric awning and heat lamps ensure it can be used regardless of the weather. The 12-meter-long concrete dock has a swim ladder, and you can borrow a motorized dinghy. It is also possible to rent SUP boards, sea kayaks, and surfboards.

NOTE: Please note that the cabin is located on an island, so a boat is required to reach it. You can rent a small boat/dinghy for 500 NOK per day or 2,000 NOK per week, which is not included in the booking price. A deposit is required for the boat—contact the host for more information.

On the island, a beautiful trail winds through the landscape to a mountaintop with a bench and views of the fjord. A short paddle away lies Hjelp—perfect for a night in a hammock. Visit the stone-oven bakery on Håøya, explore Sætre with its pubs and art gallery, or experience charming Drøbak with its cafes along the waterfront.
