My wife and I have created our dream place over two years, a home with 4 (+1) bedrooms, a large living area with a living room and kitchen area, where we have thought about every detail. We built it as a year-round home and with great care, so it's perfect for enjoying life's quiet moments. We're not used to sharing our green "Pearl", but we want you to experience the peace and beauty of our corner of paradise when we're not there. We hope you will care for it as if it were your own and create memories that will warm you as much as the glow of the stove in winter.

The house and surroundings are not at all suitable for renting out for parties and colors, but for relaxation, tranquility and for those who appreciate beautiful surroundings.

We enjoy long walks in the surrounding forests and if you're up for it, you can walk from our house all the way to Horsens - a route of 24 km through beautiful, varied forests and along the water. You can walk or cycle the "Fjordmino": Put on your walking shoes and explore everything from city to islands, forest, field, meadow, beach, harbors and villages on this 59 km long trip.

If you wish, you can take a short trip to Morten Korch's place of inspiration; Alrø, which is only 4 km above the dam. Here you can enjoy Denmark's largest 500g tartlets at Café Alrø, or eat bison steaks at Alrø Købmandsgård, or the chef's food at Restaurant Møllegården. It's also possible to take the bike ferry to Snaptun and Hjarnø. Or take the paddleboard about 1.5 km down to the dam towards Alrø, and much more, which you get an overview of when you book.

But what we enjoy most is sitting on one of our terraces and enjoying the silence, birdlife and wildlife, as well as looking down over the trees and enjoying the view of Horsens fjord, which is health for the soul.

So if you want peace and quiet and nature experiences, this is the place, nothing more, nothing less!
