My name is Jakob, and I live in Viborg with my wife and our three children. The summer house is architect-designed and we bought it from the architect's son, who had taken it over from his father. The house has been carefully updated, but when we saw the house for the first time, we wanted to fill it with natural materials in the spirit of the house. That's still our mission.
As a family, we enjoy getting out and being close to the beach and ocean. Here at the cottage we make time to play board games, read books, knit and all the other things we don't get to do in our everyday lives. We love to visit Løgstør marina, which has both a harbour bath and an ice house, go for a walk along Frederick the VII's canal, have coffee at Næsbydale Badehotel or take a trip to the Landal Rønbjerg water park with the kids. We also like to go on flea market trips in the local area or take a trip on the small ferry to Livø and have a nice lunch.
