We're a family of five who love to visit our lovely holiday home in Gilleleje. We have decorated the cottage in an easy and practical way, but of course we've still retained much of the classic cottage atmosphere.
We love the many great walking routes in the area, where you can dream away and let your mind wander. Often the walk ends up heading to Fyrkroen for a cup of coffee. We also love the water, which is just a short walk away from the cottage. Surfing and SUP are practiced here when the weather permits. There are great opportunities to rent surfing equipment at the North Coast if you want to try your hand at it. We also regularly go to yoga in the area, with Gilleleje Hot Yoga being our go-to.
The harbor environment is very special with cozy eateries, small shops or a trip to the cinema if the weather is bad. It's a great place to get a good lunch, dinner or ice cream.
You can easily get to good shopping opportunities, 5 minutes on one of the house bikes and you can pick up freshly baked bread for breakfast.
