We are a family of five who love to visit our lovely holiday home in Gilleleje. We have designed the cottage to be simple and practical, while still retaining a lot of the classic cottage atmosphere.
We love the area's many great walking routes, where you can dream away and let your mind wander. Often the walk also ends with us heading to Fyrkroen for a cup of coffee. We also love the water, which is just a short walk from the cottage. Surfing and SUP are practiced here when the weather permits. There are good opportunities to rent surfing equipment on the North Coast if you want to give it a try. We also regularly do yoga in the area, with Gilleleje Hot Yoga being our go-to.
The harbor environment is very special with nice places to eat, small shops or a trip to the cinema if the weather is bad. It's a great place to have a nice lunch, dinner or ice cream.
It's easy to get to good shopping, 5 minutes on one of the house bikes and you can pick up freshly baked bread for breakfast.
