On foot, you can reach the Longeyroux peat bog and the Gallo-Roman ruins of Les Cars. Lake Vassivière, the Jarrauds waterfall, and Mont Bessou are less than an hour away. Between beech forests, mysterious peat bogs, and the sources of great rivers, the plateau reveals itself.
