Two buildings are connected by a modern hallway: The log cabin has a fireplace, dining room, kitchen, and bedroom with bunk beds, while the modernized section offers a living room with a wood-burning stove, TV, and bedroom. The hallway also has a bathroom and bedroom. Everything has been carefully designed to create a timeless atmosphere.

The property overlooks a protected mountain pasture with few neighbors and plenty of privacy. The sheltered plot has a ski shed and grazing goats in the summer. A stream flows idyllically through the property, and the ski trails start right outside the door in winter.

Geilo Fjellandsby is only 10 minutes away with family-friendly alpine slopes, a varied network of trails, and activities all year round. Skistua Ruperanden is 2 km away, and Tuva Fjellstue at Hardangervidda offers hiking and fishing opportunities. Geilo has restaurants, shops, a spa, and a water park. Visit local farms for locally sourced food, or eat at Lia fjellpensjonat and Hallingstuene.
