Atelier close to nature by the high coast

The studio is no ordinary vacation home—the building was originally constructed as a gallery and studio by silversmith Sivert Källdén. Here, we’ve created a place that invites tranquility, relaxation, and mindfulness, where it’s just as nice to stay in with a book as it is to set out on a day’s adventure along the High Coast.

The heart of the house is the large living room with a 4.5-meter-high ceiling. Generous windows fill the room with light, and the morning sun streaming across the stone floors is something truly special. In the middle of the room stands one of the house’s two fireplaces, a natural gathering spot after a day in nature. The spacious kitchen is well-equipped and designed to make it easy to cook together.

Outside, a patio with a grill awaits, perfect for long summer evenings. The studio is located on the same property as our own house, and there’s also a small gym here that you’re welcome to use. At the same time, the studio has its own space and tranquility—you can enjoy the privacy and your vacation at your own pace.

The studio is located in the small village of Hol, 9 km from the High Coast Bridge. From here, you can reach the coast, the forest, hiking trails, and restaurants in no time. Explore the ED Trail right outside the door, visit the swimming spot in Norafjärden, or hike to Valkallen for views of the bridge and the sea. Take the boat to Högbonden, enjoy the rocky outcrops of Rotsidan, or discover local favorites.
