We are Trine and Bo and have recently become holiday home owners. Together with our two grown-up children, we have rented holiday homes around Denmark for many years. Now we have our own, which we often use on weekends. As soon as we drive into Fredsskoven, our shoulders drop and we enjoy the beautiful surroundings of unspoiled nature with pine forest, sea and Harrestrup river in beautiful union.
Just outside our windows there is a rich wildlife, and a morning can easily be spent watching birds, pheasants, squirrels and deer. We often go for walks in the immediate surroundings, ex the short walk (300 m) down to the beautiful child-friendly sandy beach where it is possible with a refreshing walk in the waves, we sit on one of the benches in the dunes and enjoy a beautiful sunset or the walk can be done to the nearby ice house. On cooler days we light up the fireplace and spend time indoors playing cards or board games, knitting, reading or watching a good movie. We love our walks in the local area or on the clover paths on Reersø and Røsnæs.
