Cottage and boathouse by the sea in Sveio

Located in the municipality of Sveio in Western Norway, between Stavanger and Bergen, this property sits right on the water. Two buildings offer two distinct experiences of the site: the cabin up on the lot and the boathouse down by the water, with outdoor areas and access to the water connecting them.

The cabin has three bedrooms with double beds, a main bathroom with a shower and a washing machine, and a separate toilet. The living room and kitchen are open-concept, and the kitchen is well-equipped. The fireplace warms the living room, and you’ll find games under the living room table. Outside, there’s a dining area for six and an outdoor sofa.

The boathouse features a combined living and sleeping area with a double bed and a private bathroom. On the ground floor, there is a larger living area with doors that can be opened wide to the lake on pleasant summer evenings. A kayak is stored on the side of the boathouse and is available for free use, and life jackets and other equipment are provided inside.

Haugesund is about 30 minutes away by car, with restaurants such as Lothes Mat og Vinhus, Cibo, and Naustet Spiseri. About 2 km from the cabin, you’ll find a summer kiosk and Våga Bistro, which serves homemade pizza. Sveio Golf Park is 10–15 minutes away, and Siggjo on Bømlo and Preikestolen make for great day trips.
