It was a wonderful place! But—one of the reasons we chose that particular house was that the amenities listed included an outdoor shower. However, there was nothing even close to a finished outdoor shower. Unfortunately, I had the same feeling about another house we’d booked earlier, where I wrote to the owner twice to ask about the outdoor shower, since there wasn’t a photo of it there either. Since the owner never replied, I lost confidence and canceled the booking. I would really like it if landfolk would do a better job of verifying whether the listed amenities actually match reality.
I was also surprised by the number of dust bunnies under the furniture and the greasy surfaces on the kitchen appliances, considering what you pay for just a few days.
But otherwise, it was lovely.
