The cabin is a great starting point for lots of activities in and around Hallingdal, such as the 450-kilometer Hallingdalsløypa cross-country ski trail, which is just 30 meters from the cabin. Nesfjellet Alpin is also close to the cabin, with plenty of opportunities to get your adrenaline pumping down the steep slopes. You can also try your hand at ice fishing in Tunhovdfjorden. In summer, you can swim near Synstevatn, which is close to the cabin, or take on the area's many cycling and hiking trails. If you're traveling with children, Langedrag Nature Park, Bjørneparken in Flå or Gol waterpark are worth a visit.
